Since 1942, the Domaine Rolet, located in Arbois in the heart of the Jura vineyard, perpetuates the family viticultural tradition by producing exceptional wines. Founded by Désiré Rolet, the estate was developed by his 4 children who expanded the vineyard and modernized the facilities. In 2018, two families passionate about wine and the Jura region took over the estate, marking a new stage in its history.
The cuvée "Expression du Terroir" from Domaine Rolet is a Côtes du Jura wine made from plots on the slopes of Voiteur. Exposed to the full south, this terroir rests on soils composed mainly of gray marls but also of fine limestones rich in fossils. Harvested and sorted by hand, the berries undergo aging under-veil in oak barrels for 3 years (savagnin) and 3 years in topped-up foudres (chardonnay).
