Grower Chamapagne Tasting
-
Join us from 6:30pm on Wednesday, 25th of September, for a tasting of Grower Champagnes
Hosted by David Cahill
Champagne. A wine associated with quality and celebration. Dominated by large 'Maisons', increasingly we are seeing more grower-producers, Growers typically own small parcels of vineyards in very specific places within the Champagne region. They tend to their vines all year and harvest their grapes on their own. Because their sparkling wines are crafted with grapes from specific parcels of land and blended in small lots, they tend to taste very distinct and different every year.

At 64 Wine we understand the effect that farming is having on the environment, both currently and in the future.
With that in mind we have embarked on a programme of consolidation of our wine offering to make sure that all our wines and their producers are engaged in looking after the land and environment that they work.
Great wines will only be possible in the future if everyone from the drinker to the seller to the producer, if we all make a conscious decision to support sustainability in wine. #64Winecares

Amazing range of wines at all price levels with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I don't think there's a better wine shop in Dublin
Massive gratefulness to this place and especially the knowledgeable team as they opened the door to wine world for me during lockdown and keep broadening my experience every week! This place is more than a usual wine shop, as you always find friendly atmosphere, experienced people who will guide you through different wines, educate you and help to find the wine that suit you and your budget. Usually passing by 64 Wine I used to take a seat and enjoy several glasses while having a chat with friend or just nibble on their deli specialities. It's one of my favorite spots in the area and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Pop in, be proactive, ask questions and learn the beauty of wine from the source!
PS Their Wine Club offer is a game changer!
