A wonderful nose opens this delightful red wine from the Jura. Morello Cherries dominate , with strawberry and blackberry notes and the characteristic touch of spice. These flavours appear on the palate too along with delicate tannins and finishing long. A little aging will reveal some mushroom and notes of undergrowth that give it extra depth and complexity.
Filipa Pato, 'Dinamica' Tinto, Baga, Bairrada, Portugal 2024
Crafted from the Baga grape, known for its thick skins and high tannins, this wine is a testament to the winemaker's skill and artistry. Hand-harvested and fermented with natural yeasts in concrete tanks, the wine is aged in used oak barrels for 12 months, resulting in a wine that is rich, complex, and full of life.

I Clivi, Schioppettino, Fruili, Italy, 2023
Mario Zanusso's idea is to craft a red wine consistent with the character of Ribolla Gialla (Schioppettino is also known as Ribolla Nera). This red, therefore, plays on acidity, salinity, moderate alcohol (12.5%), with a seducing strawberry color and a touch of spicy, peppery notes under the nose. It is perfectly in the style of i Clivi.

7 Fuentes is a blend of Listan Negro and Tintilla from several plots fermented separately then aged on concrete and French Oak. A tasty, elegant and graceful wine with a lovely mineral finish and fresh, bright red fruits.
