The Rapet lineage can be traced back to 1765 and as such are one of the oldest family estates in the Cote d'Or. It is now under the control of Vincent Rapet and his wife Sylvette who manage the 20ha estate based in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses . Their vineyards lie in and around the hill of Corton.
"The nose is slightly impacted by the bottling but there is weight and depth on the palate, showing the western exposure. Fills out very nicely right at the finish and with balanced acidity. 20% in stainless steel, the rest in 350-litre barrels, with a little new wood. Drink from 2027-2029. "

"Aromas of peach, sweet orchard fruit and white flowers introduce the 2023 Pernand-Vergelesses Les Combottes Blanc, a medium-bodied, fleshy and elegant white that's satiny and lively. Some 20% of the ensemble was matured in vat."
