Lots of wet stone minerality on the nose, combined with a zesty citrusness and peach blossom aromas. A beautifully textured and weighted wine with great balance, there are lovely almond notes on the palate and a wonderful long, lingering finish. A fantastic Grenache Blanc!
'The 2018 Grenache Blanc was naturally fermented in concrete eggs and amphora, filling 4,200 bottles. The nose begins with a dusty, wet rock minerality, interwoven with a zesty citrus core with elegant peach blossoms. The palate reveals the wine to have a depth and weight that was surprising to me. As the wine sits on the palate, there's a beautiful texture that presents itself. Medium-bodied and with a long finish, the wine ends with a flutter of almond skin with a thoughtfully balanced expression. This is a great value for the quality. Where else would you find a Grenache Blanc this good?' Anthony Mueller Wine Advocate
