A wine made from Syrah grapes grown on a single style of terroir, this being Schist soil. The structured SCHIST soils make for structured, broader tannins and create the darkest perfume possible for the syrah, with great aging potential.
On the nose there are notes of black pepper, black fruit and spices. The palate is full-bodied with a meaty, savoury character, plenty silky tannins giving structure and a balancing natural acidity. The finish is fresh, long and supple.
