Domaine du Monteillet, Stephane Montez, Les Hauts du Monteillets', Syrah, Rhone, 2022 ^Sale

Stephane is the tenth generation winemaker in the north Rhone village of Chavanay. He took over the winemaking in 1997.The vines are grown in granite and mica-schist and because of the gradient of the vineyards most of the work is done by hand. Both the reds and whites are aged in differing sized and aged French oak barrels. We have always carried a good range of Stephane's wines , which are all of the very highest quality.
