Maison Gautheron d’Anost is the new project of Bastien Gautheron, a micro-négoce based in Dijon, born from his passion and his desire to express the terroir with authenticity. After honing his skills at the renowned Maison Olivier Leflaive in Puligny-Montrachet and collaborating with prestigious domaines such as Domaine Rougeot and Domaine Comte Armand, Bastien decided to forge his own path. Today, the maison produces around 21,000 bottles per year, divided into seven wines, four reds and three whites, combining grapes from the family vineyards in Savigny-lès-Beaune with fruit sourced from trusted growers, always farmed organically.
"Vines planted in 2017 in Le Pré Chaudois. 45cm fine topsoil on limestone mother rock, using a southern rootstock (1103 Pohlsen) as hoped for insurance against global warming. Very clean white fruit with energy, a little bit of greengage behind. A light chardonnay nose, with only a touch of oak. 5 barrels made."
