Kanonkop is a 4th Generation family owned estate in Stellenbosch. The name of the winery means 'cannon hill', a nod to when cannons were fired from the hill top to announce the arrival of Dutch trading ships. Currently certified as a sustainable wine producer, they are currently in conversion to organic viticulture, which should be completed by 2025.
