Amelie Berthaut inherited the estate from her parents and made her first vintage in 2013. She has been the subject of very positive journalistic attention in recent years. She farms organically and uses about 50% new oak with varying degrees of whole clusters for fermentation.
"Bottled in August, the 2023 Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge offers up pretty aromas of plums, berries and spices, followed by a medium-bodied, supple and saline palate. Lighter and more immediate than its 2022 predecessor, this delicate, fine-boned red will drink well young."
- 87/100, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
"In bottle since August. An attractive crimson colour. The nose is a touch reductive, which shows in the mouth too, but the quality of the fruit is cheerful, if a little angular. Drink from 2026-2028."
- 87/100, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
