Claire Naudin can trace her wine making heritage to 1850 and learned her trade in her father's domaine , Domaine Naudin-Ferrand. Claire farms organically and resists the use of chemicals. In 2016 she lost most of her crop in frost and developed contacts in the Auvergne which is 200km west of Beaune and purchased fruit from there while making the wine in Burgundy, hence the 'Vin de France' accreditation. She uses whole bunch, natural yeasts and a very gentle pressing before bottling unfiltered. Very low levels of SO2 are added to stabilise the wine at bottling. These are very pure wines with good tension and great length. They are fruit driven and quite perfumed.
