Champagne Marguet Yuman 23 Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay sourced from villages including Villeneuve-Renneville and Villers-Marmery, two Premier Cru terroirs known for the finesse and freshness of their wines. This cuvée is produced according to the estate's biodynamic principles, with manual harvesting and vineyard management without heavy mechanization to preserve life in the soil. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation may take place in vats, followed by additional aging in enameled tanks, with the aim of maintaining precision and tension. True to the Marguet style, the dosage is extremely low or even nil, placing this cuvée within the realm of Brut Nature champagnes.
There are aromas of white fruits, fresh citrus, and some delicate floral notes. Crisp and mineral, there is however a lovely richness and backbone that supports the fruit brilliantly.
