A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay aged in old oak. The vines are on the eastern end of the Marne Valley and are approximately 40 years old. Antoine, who is in his 30's farms organically and follows biodynamic principles.
The 2014 was the last vintage Antoine made with his grandfather. The wine is exotic, playful with a touch of oxidation creating this beautifully perfumed and vinous experience. The use of oak creates a perfectly poised mid palate and the salinity on the end leaves this lovely bitter touch.
