Join us on Sunday the 28th of April as 64 Wine host's a celebration of one of the worlds great culinary delights, Sushi.
Having is origins as early as the early Ion Age, what we think of as modern sushi has its origins in the early 1800's, when a chef named Hanaya Yohei, created nigiri-zushi, where seafood is placed on hand-pressed vinegared rice, and it became popular as the fast food of its day.
Famous for it's simplicity, built around quality rice, and using the best of ingredients possible, Sushi has reached the status of an art form, with Sushi restaurants regularly considered amongst the best in the world.
As well as being an experience on its on, Sushi also provides a wonderful accompaniment to be enjoyed along side, great wines and sakes.
