Lavina Winery was founded by Bakar Narsia in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, he is using the traditional Georgian method of winemaking, fermenting the wine in qvevri. The winery owns 2 hectares of vineyards in both Imereti (western Georgia) and the Kartli region.
This wine is made from the Kisi grape, an ancient variety native to Georgia’s Kakheti region, particularly Tsinandali.
It is traditionally crafted in qvevri with full skin contact and stems, following the classic Georgian winemaking method. Golden amber in color, Kisi reveals layered aromas of dried fruits and white tea. The palate is structured yet refined, with balanced tannins and a long, velvety finish. It pairs beautifully with lamb, rich buttery dishes, and hearty salads, complementing both delicate and full- bodied flavors.
