Heimann & Fiai are one of the most respected producers in Hungary. They follow organic principles in the vineyards. The Szekszard region is a very warm region but what defines their wine style is balance and freshness. The wine is aged in stainless steel for 8 months using 30% whole bunch. The wine has a lovely perfume of violets and red cherry spice. It has fine grained but good structural tannins. This is a light juicy red that could be chilled a few degrees for service. Ideal with salami.
