Fabrizio Iuli is based in a tiny town in the Monferrato region of Piedmonte. It is considered the home of the Barbera grape and as such Fabrizio refers to himself as a ‘barberista'. His Co-op has extended beyond Barbera however and he makes fantastic wines with a number of ancient and almost abandoned Piedmontese grapes.
This wine made from the Grignolino. It is fresh, bright and full of cherry fruits, a touch of spice and delicate but firm tannins.
