The estate is owned by the Glotin family and is on the banks of the Dordogne looking across from St Emilion. This is classic Claret in style, using 65% Merlot and 35% of the Cabernets grown on gravel soils and aged in French oak barriques for 8 months. It is rounded and medium bodied with a subtle tannic structure. It is earthy with bramble fruit, clove spice, liquorice, bay leaf and hints of tobacco.
