With its unique terroir, the Domaine Gueugnon Remond is a masterpiece of local heritage, enjoying an exceptional geographical location and benefits from the many riches of the region. Located in the heart of the Mâconnais, the story begins in particular in 1660, when Claude Brosse, a merchant, brought the wines of the Mâconnais to the attention of Louis XIV. This wine-growing tradition is accompanied by an exceptional environment, between vineyards, rocks, monuments and breathtaking castles.
This cuvée comes from the selection of a plot located at a place called "La Charmone", a 25-year-old vine, on shallow soils, mainly clay-limestone, remarkable for its western exposure. Lemon-gold in color, delicate aromas of orange blossom, yellow apple and nectarine open on the nose followed by hints of lilac. The palate is fulsome with mature fruit that leans into white blossom and lifted florals.
