Château La Coste sits within a landscape steeped in the rich history of its Provençal setting. The original bastide was established in 1682 but it has existed as a domaine since the Roman times, with an agricultural and winemaking tradition marked by the land, evident in the presence of dry stone walls, bridges and wells.
Situated in the midst of Provence between the historical city of Aix-en Provence and Luberon National Park, Château La Coste sits on a north-facing amphitheatre totalling almost two hundred hectares of which one hundred and thirty are dedicated to vines, fifty to forests, ten to olive groves and two to lavender fields, allowing for a biodiverse landscape.
