A high-altitude wine, from an exposed and ventilated slope, which gives Pinot Noir an airy expression. The nose combines fresh red fruits, rose peel and a touch of peony. On the palate, the grain is fine, almost silky, carried by a remarkable limestone tension. The balance between contained power and floral finesse makes this a wine for contemplation and aging.
Hand-harvested in Alsace(Fraueberg) and naturally vinified in Jura with semi-carbonic maceration at cool temperatures, before ageing in well-seasoned casks. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulphites.
