The Emrich-Schönleber wines are some of the best that are made, not only in the Nahe, but in all of Germany. They focus on Riesling, and the dedication in the vineyards and the cellar shines through in all of their bottles.
It is an elegant and very mineral white wine, characterized by scents of spices and yellow fruits. It is a blend of fruit from the Halenberg and Frühlingsplätzchen vineyards. On the nose aromas of soft fruit and garden herbs waft enticingly out of the glass. On the palate it is clean, fresh and rich, with a light and well-integrated sweetness. A solid, stony minerality pervades the wine, softening the intensity of the fruit and giving a rich, dry finish. 08/21
