Produttori del Barbaresco is often regarded(and rightly so in my humble opinion)as the best Co-op in the world. With 51 members and 100 hectares, they make some of the best Nebbiolo's in the world. In the best Vintages nine single vineyard Barbaresco's, a Barbaresco D.O.C.G and a Langhe Nebbiolo are made.
"The 2022 Barbaresco is quite a rich, heady wine. Dark cherry/plum fruit, cloves, liquorice and mocha build as the 2022 shows its considerable depth. It is one of the few 2022s that are texturally quite resonant. The aromatics could be a little more pronounced and the tannins could use a little more polish, but these qualities were almost impossible to find in 2022. The inclusion of juice from Riserva lots is a big help. All in all, this is an excellent result."
