This old vines Xinomavro is organically grown ( some from un-grafted vines) on limestone and clay in the mountains of Macedonia. The grapes are hand harvested, fermented using wild yeasts and very low SO2 additions. This is a delicious wine with notes of orange blossom, ripe melon, defined by its tension with a nice volume and crisp finish. Dimitri operates with a 'handoff' approach to ensure that he achieves the most honest expression of the grape. The vineyards are high altitude, 750-890 metres. It is a fresh 11.5% ABV.
