One of(if not the) Top Red Sancerre wines, this is a remarkable Pinot Noir, produced only in the best years, and a match to the best of what Burgundy has to offer. On the nose there are aromas of preserved cherries followed by black currant and blueberry. A brilliant ruby red, on the palate there is elegant fruit and a smoky, earthiness throughout. There a fine structured tannins and impressive volume to this medium bodied wine.
