Frédéric Lafarge and his wife Chantal, née Vial, purchased 4h/a of various plots in Beaujolais in 2014. They had 3 years of intense work before their efforts were fully rewarded in this the 2018 vintage. The wines are made using grapes biodynamically grown, about 25% of which are whole cluster. They are aged in used barrels from their Volnay domain. The results are 'old school' Beaujolais wines capable of lengthy ageing.
