German Blanco works these vineyards organically. There are only 600 h/a of Tempranillo Blanco in Rioja as against 35,000 of red Tempranillo, so it is rare. The wines are fermented and aged in concrete to emphasise the varietal characteristics . White stone fruits dominate on a rounded finish. It has a balanced freshness and great length. Less an aperitif style wine than a wine to serve with meaty fish, hard cheeses or poultry.
