Giulia Negri was only 24 years old when she took over responsibility for the estate . She was influenced by her experience in Burgundy and by the great traditional winemakers in Barolo. She has removed the barriques and replaced them with large used casks. This vineyard is north facing and the highest point in the Barolo zone at 536 metres. Her winemaking follows a sustainable ethos and she farms organically. They call her Barologirl.
