Duckhorn vineyards was established in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn. They are now one of North America’s premier producers of Napa Valley wines. “There is no recipe or formula. My job is to let the vineyards speak and convey the soul of the wine”, Renee Ary, winemaker since 2014.
The 2016 Howell Mountain is a Cabernet of immense power and grandeur. With voluptuous fruit and great structure throughout, the addition of small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc add an extra layer of complexity and a remarkably long finish to an exquisite wine.
