Mee Godard was born in South Korea but adopted by a French couple. She studied in both Oregon and Montpellier before acquiring some choice plots in Beaujolais. She began by introducing a program of lutte raisonnee, converted to organic in 2016 and started to introduce some biodynamic principles in the more recent vintages. The Corcelette vineyard in Morgon is planted with 70 year old vines on granite soil and South East facing. Jancis Robinson said ' They're wines would grace the finest tables'. Their purity and intensity define the wines.
