The Geoffray family have run this small estate since 1743. It is run following very traditional methodologies, hand harvesting. low goblets pruned vies with grasses and flowers growing inter-vines to encourage insect life. The maceration is gentle preserving the perfume. Cote de Brouilly produces some of the finest , muscular and most age-worthy Beaujolais. This unusually is aged in oak tuns for 7-9 months, rounding off the wine and adding a very subtle richness to the wines. This is a wine that can be cellared but equally fine to consume now.
