Made with fruit from the Cote Vineyard, that has aspects facing North, North East and East, along with a myriad of soil types, the wine is barrel fermented with 50% in new oak. The wine then ages for 11 months before being bottled.
The wine has an amazing smoothness and calmness that stretches the length of the palate, surrounded with textured fruit and mineral elements.
"Lightly smoky nose. Then masses of fruit and rather subtle and confident! Nothing remotely austere. Just pure fruit; really well done." - Jancis Robinson
