Possibly 4 Kilos’ most personal wine (named after the winemakers) Grimalt Cabellero is a blend of mostly Callet with some Fogoneu from small parcels on the southeast part of the island. An ambitious wine that delivers the complexity of ripe fruit seasoned with spicy and well-integrated oak, but is not at all heavy. Local variety Callet at its most elegant.
"It has a bright ruby color and is incredibly aromatic, floral, peppery and nuanced, clean and focused like never before. It's terribly elegant, balanced, intense and somehow light, with 12% alcohol and super fine tannins. It's a cool Mediterranean red, among the best produced in Spain. It opened up spectacularly in the glass, the floral and spicy character grew and the wine didn't stop unfolding layers of aromas. The flavors are pungent, high pitched, precise and clean. There is a lot of tension here, the texture is seamless and the finish long, clean and focused. Simply superb!" 600 Bottles Produced
