Domaine Maurice Charleaux

Now in his late seventies, Maurice has all but retired (except at harvest time of course!). It is son Vincent who continues the work in this highly respected domaine. In Jancis Robinson's opinion, Vincent has propelled the estate's rating to one of the finest in the village and one of Burgundy's rising stars.

The holdings span both several parcels in Maranges itself and Santenay.

Vincent's talent is evident in both colours. His wines sparkle with fruit and the hallmarks are freshness, vivaciousness, energy and harmony. This 8 hectare estate is one to follow for value red & white Burgundy.
