This breathtaking region boasts exceptional terroir, as both limestone and chalk-rich fossils are abundant. Cooler temperatures (due to higher altitude in Cazelles) allow grapes to ripen slowly, the result being balanced, mineral-infused wines without excessive levels of alcohol.
