Fabien Duperry can justifiably claim to the new star in Beaujolais. Having worked in the wine business in Burgundy he decided to branch out into winemaking about 14 years ago. He now owns 7h/a in Beaujolais and is wine making has evolved so that he no longer uses oak and prefers to age his wines in a combination of concrete and glass. He uses about 30% whole bunch and very low doses of SO2. His wines are rich , elegant and very smooth.
