The Cruse family bought this estate in 1945 and is now run by Emmanuel. Neal Martin of the Wine Advocate awarded this 93-95/100 and suggested drinking 2026-2060. A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot aged 18 months in 50% new oak. 2016 was a near perfect vintage with perfectly ripe fruit that I find is accessible when young due to the supple nature of the tannins.
