A barrel aged red wine, made from the Baga grape, this is a delicate and fine wine to whet the appetite. The grapes ferment with native yeasts in open oak barrels, with 20% left with their stems. The wine is then transferred to 500-litre French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. There are aromas of red fruit,along with mineral notes and hints of wood. On the palate it is pure, lively and juicy. A well-structured wine with bright acidity and a long finish. Most of each vintage is sold to Michelin starred restaurants, so availability is extremely limited.
