Luis Gutierrez said 'One of the most exciting new projects in Portugal' . A group of Brazilian wine enthusiasts led by Guilherme Correa and Igor Beron used the respected wine consultant Pedro Parra to advise on the best granitic sites , and use old vines in Dao.
The estate is run organically. This wine is made using 82% Encruzado with the balance Cerceal Branco and Bical. The wine is fermented in cement eggs, ceramic, stainless steel and wood. it is aged in various formats, all to emphasise the terroir and natural minerality in the wine. The wine maker is Luis Lopes.
