Giulia Negri was only 24 years old when she took over responsibility for the estate . She was influenced by her experience in Burgundy and by the great traditional winemakers in Barolo. She has removed the barriques and replaced them with large used casks. This vineyard is at an elevation of 460 metres ( 1,509 feet). Her winemaking follows a sustainable ethos and she farms organically. The wine is matured in used Slavonian 24h/l casks for 24 months. They call her Barologirl.
