Juliette Joblot, who runs the 14 h/a domaine said that this vintage delivered fine quality but low volumes. The vineyard is south facing, they destem 100% the Pinot Noir and age the wine in a combination of new and used oak for 12 months. Jancis Robinson said 'For sheer quality and price Joblot's burgundies are peerless in the UK market' 

Juliette harvests a little early to achieve additional freshness in their wines. L'Empreinte is a blend of the best parcels from their four 1er Cru sites.
