The Tre in the name refers to the three men(Frederico and Nicola Oberto and Vladimoro Rambaldi)who founded the winery in 2007, and Berri comes from the hamlet where they first acquired their vineyard. Hence, Trediberri. They subsequently released its first wines in 2011. As a young winery, it doesn't have a history to live up to and this something that the winery embraces, preferring to speak to the moment through its wine.
This un-oaked Barbera is an incredibly moreish wine, um-smoothed and showing a relatively high alcohol content. Full-bodied, with terrific fresh and vibrant fruit and an intense purity of flavour.
