This is a full bodied modern style wine, quite rich but made with great precision by Jean Philippe Janoueix in consultation with possibly the world's most famous wine consultant, Michel Rolland.

97% Merlot, 2.5% Cabernet Franc and a drop of Petit Verdot, grown on the Right Bank close to the river Dordogne. This 2018 vintage was a perfect vintage where the grapes retained their freshness while reaching perfect ripeness, a result of Jean-Philippe's knack of knowing just the right time to pick!
