Pet Naturel is a refreshing, lively herbal Pétillant Naturel with beautiful balance and freshness. The nose is characterised by citrus and herbs. Ripe lemon and mandarin peel, grape, lemon balm and a little woodruff. Extremely refreshing on the palate. Lime and green grape with fine salt, chalky minerality and a touch of bright exoticism. Very serious.
This Pet Nat (Pétillant Naturel) blends 60 % Pinot Noir with 40 % Zweigelt grapes. They are crushed after harvest and experience skin contact for several hours, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The fermenting juice is then bottled with the precise amount of residual sugar for the final fermentation. This Pet Nat undergoes a single disgorgement after completing its fermentation in the bottle.
The result is a juicy and fresh Pet Nat, highlighting delicate red berry notes and culminating in an elegant, mineral finish.
Aged for four-five months in bottle on lees, depending on disgorgement batch.
