Ana Berikashvili is a fith generation wine-maker and the first woman in her family to lead a winery, simultanously representing both heritage and a new voice in Georgian winemaking. Her work combines ancient qvervi methods with a modern expressive approach to wine. The focus is on making wines of authenticity, with minimal interventions allowing each wine to fully express itself and its region.
Made with a selection of Mtsvane grapes from the village of Velistsikhe. Crafted using the traditional qvervi methods, this wine has aromas of pear and tropical fruits, with a honeyed palate, flavours of apricot and mild tannins.
