Zahringer are an award winning winery from Baden in the Southwest of Germany. They have been farming Organically since 1986 and received there Demeter Certification of Biodynamic farming practices in 2010.
Gutedel is the local name for Chasselas. This is a beautifully fresh wine, with aromas and flavours of gooseberry and green apple, with a wonderful mineral backbone. And at 11.5%, it might call for a second bottle!!
