Once an engineer, Yves Cuilleron was hit by the wine bug and after training returned to take over the family vineyards. He follows the 'Lutte Raisonne' methodology of viticulture and is in the process of converting entirely to Organic methods.
The 'Les Rousses' is 100% Marsanne, hand harvested and gently pressed, the wine is spontaneous fermented with natural yeasts and aged in foudres and Burgundian barrels for 8 months. With aromas of peach, pear, blanched almond and white flower, the palate is well balanced between the roundness of the variety and freshness brought by the terroir the grapes are grown on.
