The 2023 Riesling Von der Fels is the second selection from the grands crus Kirchspiel, Hubacker, Morstein, Abtserde and quite a lot from Frauenberg, all calcareous sites. The nose is clear, pure, iodine and chalky. On the palate, this is a super precise, round and chalky, very finessed and elegant Riesling of great style with respect to knife-sharp precision, chalkiness and finesse. This is a superb Riesling at this price. 32,000 bottles were filled in late April this year. Tasted at the domaine in May.-Wine Advocate
