The slightly earthy 2020 Negre de Negres was produced with a blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah and other varieties from organically farmed vineyards. It fermented in oak and stainless steel vats and matured in foudre and large barrels for 13 months. It has less oak than in the past but still keeps a smoky note and has a meaty character. It has something earthy and black rather than red fruit, with a touch of rusticity. The palate is medium to full-bodied and reveals abundant, slightly dusty tannins. 15,156 bottles produced.
