Othello comes from the Moueix's famed Napanook Vineyard, part of the Dominus Estate in Napa Valley, California. Very alluring and perfumed nose; creamy blackcurrants, fresh and primary and with spice and even light tar. On the palate, more fresh, creamy blackcurrant fruit, layered with caramel and rich with supple tanins. There is a richness an opulence here that take you away from Bordeaux, without screaming Napa.
